SPOTFILMS
was established in 1970, with Pramod Mathur as its proprietor. The
company has the basic production hardware available in-house. It
has technical, editorial and production expertise on staff; as well
as a panel of independent technical and production experts who are
hired on contract for different projects.
SPOTFILMS
has two main levels of operations

takes on complete turn-key projects of television series, documentaries
and news features for national network television and premier
national
organisations.

major contribution of SPOTFILMS is directed towards the international
market. This includes independent films, collaborative productions
and
technical support. ZDF (German Television), the Television Division
of
National Geographic Society, Columbia Pictures Television Division,
United
Nations Television Division, United Nations Environmental Programme
are
some of the international organizations with whom it has been
associated
in the past.

is also engaged in various media-related activities through
its not-for profit arm, the Foundation For Responsible Media
(formedia). These include
training workshops, intensive training programmes, seminars
and policy intervention initiatives:at the national and international level.
