LIVESTOCK POLICY OF INDIA India has nearly 15% of the world s livestock population, but only 2% of its land area. Overpopulation of livestock has lead to stress on land, and the economy. The practice of free grazing and unbridled growth of herds have degraded large areas of fertile grasslands. And with degradation, herders have changed their stocks from cattle to sheep and goats. Only a clearly defined national livestock policy can overcome the fodder and grazing crisis faced by India.

Ofcourse, Climate Change is on everyone’s mind. We are very keen to do a film on the melting glaciers of the Himalaya. Is the world ready to cope with the millions of environmental refugees from China and India as rivers begin to die? Please let us know your interest for further discussion. Two co-directors from China and India are ready to talk about the film.
